The Imps’ Tom Pett has been voted Skybet League 2’s PFA Bristol Street Motors Fans’ Player of the Month by football fans across the country.
Pett has won the award after picking up the most votes from supporters ahead of his teammate, Jason Shackell, who came in second place in the voting.
It's the second time in as many months that a City player has picked up the gong after Michael Bostwick was named as the player of the month in August by the supporters voting in the Bristol Street Motors PFA Fans' player of the month poll online in the vote run by Snack Media.
Pett won what was a tight contest – he received 28% of the vote for September with teammate, Jason Shackell, taking second place with 21% of the votes ahead of Oldham Athletic's Sam Surridge in third place with 15% of the vote.
