There’s another full slate of Sky Bet League Two fixtures on Saturday, and the Sporting Life football team takes a look at the big talking points ahead of the games.
The Imps suffered just their second loss of the season during the week and they will look to bounce back at Sincil Bank when they welcome a Crewe side with one goal and one point to their name away from home this season.
Third travel to fifth as Newport County visit Forest Green – who are something of the draw specialists at home with four out of five home games in the league ending in a stalemate this season.
The draw - on offer at 12/5 for this one looks of real appeal given the stats.
Second-placed Exeter take their hot streak on a shorter trip than usual as they visit Yeovil on the back of four wins out of five. The Glovers have lost three in four so Sky Bet’s Price Boost of Exeter to win and both teams to score at 5/1 looks like the way to go here.
Tranmere Rovers were impressive in their win over leaders Lincoln last time out, but travel to a Morecambe side that have improved recently with two wins from the last three.
Another big game sees Colchester, who currently sit in fourth, make the trip to seventh-placed Stevenage with just one point separating the two teams ahead of kick-off.
MK Dons managed to stop the rot last time out with their first win in six but they’re still in the play-off places as they play host to Cheltenham, who’ve won just twice this season.
Oldham sit just outside the play-off spots after playing out three straight draws, but there should be a result one way or the other as they face Carlisle United at home as the visitors have only drawn once all season.
Bottom side Macclesfield play host to a Notts County side that seems to have found its feet under Harry Kewell after a dreadful start – the Magpies having gone unbeaten in their last four while winning their last two.
Cambridge are second bottom after four defeats in their last five as they travel to Crawley – who are another side who usually get a result with five wins and five defeats out of 11 games played so far.
Bury have only lost one in six and sit just outside the play-off spots as they play host to Mansfield Town – who have only lost one in six themselves with two wins and three draws.
Grimsby Town stopped their worrying run of five straight defeats with a win last time out and they’ll hope to take that confidence into their home game with Port Vale.
Northampton Town are having a tough time of things with just one win all season but there is some hope as they head to Swindon Town as the hosts haven’t won in three games at home with two draws and a defeat.
