Last season we invited some older supporters to lead out the team versus Exeter City and we are delighted to provide further information ahead of Saturday's visit of Crewe as we welcome more as mascots.
After receiving numerous emails and letters of dedication containing some wonderful stories below, we invite you to learn a little about them before welcoming them on to the pitch on Saturday.
Everyone at Lincoln City FC would like to express their thanks for their lifelong dedication and support and we hope that you will join us in giving them a hearty round of applause on pre match.
Our mascots are listed below.
Stephen Wells
Stephen started watching the Imps in 1955 with his Dad and Grandad. The family were all Imps fans and Stephen attended matches with his Dad until his father could no longer attend. Stephen is now a season ticket holder with his son, daughter and his two grandchildren all of whom are Imps fanatics.
Ron Myland
Ron is 72 years old and has been watching the Imps since he was 5. He recalls being in the old Railway End at Sincil Bank as a youngster and has thoroughly enjoyed taking his children to watch City over the years with his grandchildren now continuing the family tradition.
Michael Cox
67 year old Michael has been watching City since he was a fresh faced 4 year old where he attended fixtures with his father, Brian. Michael travels up to Sincil Bank to watch matches from Boston. When his daughter got married earlier in the season he refused to do his 'Father of the Bride' speech until the full time score came in from Macclesfield.
Ivan Senkiw
Ivan began watching the Imps in the 1950's and was brought up with the likes of Graver, Garvie and Harbertson. He took his son Walter, to games who recalls his first few games being Reserve and 'A' team fixtures. Ivan gets to Sincil Bank whenever he can is an avid listener of BBC Radio Lincolnshire when he cannot attend.
Brian Everatt
Brian is a life-long Imp, now in his 80's who attended many games with his father in law, Smiley Parker, and they were both regulars in the St Andrews Stand. Brian was a fully qualified referee and a real student of the game and now his grandson has followed in his footsteps in becoming a match official.
Margaret Done
First introduced to the Imps by her mum in the 1940's, Margaret has been a staunch City supporter. After marrying her husband, Roy, in the late 60's she never lost her love for the club despite him being posted around the world in the RAF. Margaret recalls the eras of Graham Taylor and Keith Alexander but added that nothing compares to the current management duo of Danny and Nicky Cowley.
