Alex Woodyard has today joined Sky Bet League One side Peterborough United for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old joined the Imps in the summer of 2016 from Braintree, having reached the National League play-offs under the management of Danny and Nicky Cowley.
Woodyard was the Cowleys' first signing since arriving at Sincil Bank, and has been an ever-present since.
He played an important role in the Imps reaching the quarter-final of the Emirates FA Cup and clinching the National League title. The midfielder was also awarded with the Player of the Season Award for 2016/17.
Woodyard made 113 appearances during his two-year stay at Sincil Bank, and we would like to thank Alex for his service during his time and wish him all the best for the future.
