For any supporters travelling from the South w are attending this weekend’s SkyBet League Two Playoff Semi Final First leg at Sincil Bank, we have been made aware that the M1 will be closed between junctions 23A and 24 from Friday night until Sunday afternoon.
Tonight at 10pm the Southbound carriageway will close, then at midnight, the Northbound side of the M1 will also close, this is to be closed until 3pm on Sunday 13th May while the Kegworth bypass bridge is installed.
Diversions are via the A453 whilst the M1 is closed and Traffic England are advising drivers to stay away from the area where possible or allow extra travelling time during the disruption to the road network.
