Lincoln City can announce that Bob Dorrian has decided to step down from his position as Chairman of Lincoln City Football Club and Lincoln City Holdings.
Bob will continue his association with the Club as an Associate Director, having originally taken control of the reigns at Sincil Bank from his predecessor Steff Wright in May 2010.
During his Chairmanship Bob has overseen the club’s journey through some turbulent times; under considerable financial pressure early in his tenure, he has been instrumental in building the foundations for a memorable past two seasons.
Bob stepped into the role at what was a difficult time for the club and has since witnessed some of the club’s biggest successes to date.
The Imps made history by getting to the quarter final of the FA Cup in 2016/17, winning the National League title in the same season, and more recently the club’s first ever appearance at Wembley winning the Checkatrade Trophy.
However, Bob has considered that now is the right time for someone else to steer the club forward to even greater progression and there is every reason to be optimistic about the club’s future.
The board, on behalf of everyone at Lincoln City Football Club, would like to put on record their thanks to Bob for all his dedication, hard work and financial support during his time as Chairman.
The board have elected a successor to Bob and full details will be announced shortly.
