Imps boss Danny Cowley, and forward Matt Rhead have been nominated for Sky Bet League Two's Manager and Player of the Month awards for December respectively.

Conceding just once in the league during the month of December, City have now risen to 6th in the league, despite also having a spell in the top three during the end of 2017.
December results:
Yeovil Town (a): 0-2 (Green, Rhead)
Accrington Sanley (h): 2-0 (Green, Rhead)
Newport County (a): 0-0
Stevenage (h): 3-0 (Anderson, Green, Ginnelly)
Forest Green Rovers (h): 2-1 (Rhead x2)

Upon Danny Cowley's nomination for the award, an EFL statement said: "His side have improved every month on their return to the Sky Bet EFL. Matt Rhead
'Rheady' signed a new contract at the beginning December, and has continued to reward the decision as he found the back of the net four times during a successful month for the Imps.
An EFL statement said: "A perfect month for the Lincoln cult hero who celebrated signing a new contract by scoring four goals and setting up another. As well as scoring, he uses his physical presence cleverly to trouble defenders and create space for teammates."
Other nominees for Player of the Month are:
- Callum Lang - Morecambe
- Sammie Szmodics - Colchester United
- Alan Sheehan - Luton Town
The winners for the awards will be announced in the morning on Friday, 12th January.
