Nomad Trust were delighted with the donations of clothes that City fans brought to the University of Lincoln Fan Zone ahead of the Carlisle United Emirates FA Cup fixture earlier this month.
Over 30 bags of clothing were brought along, as well as food items and money dations, including some old Lincoln City kit which was handed over by Kit Manager Terry Bourne.
All monetary donations that were made on the day will be going towards the Lincoln Nomad Centre Project, a 24/7 hub for people to access support services and emergency accommodation all under one roof.
"We would like to thank LCFC Foundation, Lincoln City FC and it’s generous supporters for donating to our Nomad project over the FA Cup weekend," Lincoln Nomad Trust Marketing Officer Zoe Conville said.
"We were given lots of warm clothing and canned food, which are vital for those who use our services, particularly as the weather turns colder.
"We wouldn't be able to support people in need without the generosity and kindness from the community in Lincoln and beyond, and we are always humbled when such a show of support is given. Thank you all."
