Following the success of the Fan Zone in our fixtures against Barnet and Chesterfield, we have listened to fan feedback and have continued to make additions to the experience in the Fan Zone.
The Fan Zone will welcome the two guests from the Imps Former Players Association, Gavin Gordon and John Kennedy.
Gavin scored 33 goals in under four seasons for the Imps, before moving to Cardiff City. While, John Kennedy made 278 appeances over seven seasons in the late '60s and early '70s.
This Saturday also welcomes local restaurant Ribs 'n' Bibs to the Fan Zone, and they will have a pop-up stall offering Imps fans a sampling of their menu and providing vouchers for City fans.
With the Fan Zone opening from midday, and our former Imps arriving from 2pm - there will be a variety of food and drinks on offer.
Situated outside the Travis Perkins Suite, the Fan Zone is FREE ENTRY to ALL home fans with a season ticket or match ticket, as well as Club members. Over time we are looking to have a wide variety of entertainment and opportunity to meet current and former Imps players, courtesy of the Imps FPA.
This project is another way for the club to connect with our fans, this area will be dedicated to YOU and we feel it’s important we get your feedback and create a Fan Zone you are all proud of.
The Fans Zone will continue to offer a cash bottle bar, along with traditional match day food, which this Saturday will be footlong Lincolnshire sausages.
Chief Executive Liam Scully said: “The Fan Zone, and the additions we continue to make, is based on feedback and progressive conversations with our partners.
"We're looking to continually improve our fans' match day experience, and we are pleased that our new additions have been warmly welcomed by our supporters."
