Posh Striker Angol Joins On Loan

We're pleased to announce the loan signing of Peterborough United striker Lee Angol.

Lee, whose loan will run until the end of the season, has been with the Posh since the summer of 2015 following a prolific spell on loan at Boreham Wood from Luton Town during which he finished the 2014/15 season as the Conference South's top scorer with 25 goals in 39 games.

A former youth with Tottenham Hotspur, Lee's professional bow came with Wycombe Wanderers in 2012 and after loan spells with Hendon, Maidenhead United and Boreham Wood, he joined Luton before being sent out on a season-long loan back to Boreham Wood.

He scored twice on his Peterborough debut and went on to net 11 goals in 38 games for the Posh in his first season with the club. A fractured ankle sustained in a pre-season at Boston United, however, has restricted his match action so far this season.

He has been handed the number 31 squad shirt and permission has been given for him to play in the Buildbase FA Trophy.
