170710 Jordan Maguire-Drew

The Imps are delighted to announced the addition of Brighton & Hove Albion winger Jordan Maguire-Drew on a season-long loan deal.

The 19-year-old had a successful loan spell at Dagenham & Redbridge last season where he scored 15 goals, and becomes the latest summer arrival at Sincil Bank.

Boasting a cultured left foot, Maguire-Drew will help the Cowley brothers strengthen an area they thought needed improvement.

Boss Danny Cowley said: "He has an unbelievable left foot, and he’ll help us improve on the pitch as we lacked a bit of left-sided balance last season.

"To have that balance is going to be really important for us going forward."

Maguire-Drew poses a threat from set-pieces too, and with over half of the Imps’ goals coming from dead ball situations last season, Cowley is looking for the left winger to help build on that total.

"He has a wonderful left-footed delivery, which for us wanting to get into advanced wide areas will certainly add something," added Cowley.

"Fifty four per cent of our goals came from set-pieces last season and his fantastic set-piece delivery too will add quality to the group."
