Wycombe Wanderers striker Dayle Southwell has today joined the Imps on a month-long loan deal.
Dayle is a familiar face in county footballing circles having started his career at Grimsby Town before spending two prolific seasons at Boston United, plundering over 50 goals for the Pilgrims at National League North level.Snapped by by Wycombe last summer, Dayle's career at Adams Park has unfortuately been a bit stop-start due to injury but now he's fully fit the Oxford-born goal-getter will be looking to get some valuable playing time under his belt whilst at Sincil Bank Stadium.
Permission has been granted for him to play in both The Emirates FA Cup and The Buildbase FA Trophy and he has been handed the number 31 squad shirt, recently vacated by Theo Robinson's departure to Southend United.
