The Imps' youth team returned to league action on Wednesday when they entertained York City at Ashby Avenue.
With eight changes from Saturday's Midland Youth Cup Final at Shrewsbury Town it was a youthful line up including four U16s for this Youth Alliance fixture.
The game also saw a debut for U15 Jack Fixter, and although trailing 2-0 on the hour mark the youngsters rallied well and it was second year scholar Kegan Everington who bagged a late consolation goal for the Imps.
City's youngsters have just two league fixtures remaining and Grimsby Town are the visitors to Lincoln Christ's Hospital School this coming Saturday, 11.00am kick off.
