U18 head coach Sam Tillen is looking for a response from his young Imps after a disappointing defeat on Tuesday afternoon.
The Imps are back in action on Friday 12 April, and Tillen is hoping that match will be the perfect opportunity to bounce back from the frustration of Tuesday’s 7-2 loss to Burton Albion.
He said: “We’re fortunate we have a game on Friday as we can turn it round in three days, rather than having to wait longer, and put this behind us.
"I'm hoping we can respond in a positive manner. The boys have had good results leading up to this game, but there’s been a bit of a break and that showed in the way we started.”
Tillen is hoping for a stronger start against Bradford City on Friday, and also demanded his side get back to the performance levels they have shown in recent weeks as they aim to get a good result and enjoy a positive end to the campaign.
He added: "We've got to make sure we're on it from the first whistle on Friday at Bradford.
:We need to get back to how we've been playing, showing the same level of performance with and without the ball that we didn't show."
