City have secured the promising midfielder Oisin Gallagher, 18, on a new long-term contract.
The Republic of Ireland U19 international, a second-year scholar at City’s Academy who signed his first professional deal on his 17th birthday, has made two first-team appearances in the Papa Johns Trophy this season.
He also captained City's U18 side as they reached the third round of the FA Youth Cup.
He said: “It’s hard to get your first contract, but it’s even harder to get your second one - and I’m delighted Lincoln City have put their faith in me.
“I’ve really enjoyed my time both with the scholars and when I’ve stepped up to train with the first-team, I’ve been made to feel really welcome and I’ve loved it. It’s been a tough journey but I’m very proud and really enjoyed it.
“I want to better myself on and off the pitch, working hard each day in training and hopefully getting as many games as I can under my belt.”
